Sora Lodge Lalibela is a German-Ethiopian family-run hotel that has been open since October 2013. We have modern, spacious single, double and twin rooms with hot showers, comfortable beds and large verandas.
We are located within walking distance of 15 minutes to the Southern group of churches and 20 minutes to the Northern group of churches and offer daily shuttles from Lalibela Airport (about 35 minutes by car).
What makes our lodge unique are its location and the breathe-taking view. All rooms have two large verandas facing towards east and west from where our guests can see Lalibela’s biggest mountain, “Asheten Mariam”, and watch the sunrise as well as the sunset.
